The M&A Analyst will be a key participant in major projects such as M&A and related deals in banking industry, responsible for analysing industry prospects by gathering information, reviewing company fundamentals and financial statements. The M&A Analyst will draw conclusions to help upper-level managers make sound decisions on a deal.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conducting analysis and financial forecasts of target companies in M&A transactions;
• Carrying out analysis of industry and market prospects;
• Working with Marketing & Business and other teams to develop the preferred transaction structures;
• Research market conditions and developments to identify and evaluate potential candidates for investment, acquisition or strategic partnership;
• Participating in M&A and related transactions, overseeing the negotiation of terms and developing proposals;
• Assist the M&A Team Leader in building and maintaining relationship with clients and other financial institutions;
• Responsible for seeking the needed advisory and consultancy to ensure proper due diligence, legal review & documentation, tax structuring, etc.;
• Draw conclusions to help upper-level managers make sound decisions on a deal.
Profile, skills and qualifications requested:
• At least 3 years of experience in M&A related sector as an analyst;
• Strong analytical skills combined with sales skills and interpersonal, relationship building, and communication skills;
• Good Spanish and European market knowledge and corporate business understanding;
• Teamwork skills combined with ability to work with minimum supervision reaching required deadlines;
• Demonstrate efficient analytical skills in proposing well-founded conclusions;
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and clients;
• Awareness of the importance of confidentiality, proactivity, autonomy and work flexibility, ability to work in an international environment, adaptable for the company culture and
